SHEET L-01 — TERMS OF SERVICE — EFFECTIVE JUNE 2026
THE TERMS.
Plain language for what you agree to when you use Plansheet. If something here is unclear, write to us before you rely on it.
1. AGREEING TO THESE TERMS
Plansheet is operated by Headlight ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Plansheet for an organization, you are agreeing on its behalf, and "you" means that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. THE SERVICE
Plansheet is a documentation-first planning tool: you capture visions, plan and track work, draw on whiteboards, and keep a record across all of it. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will try not to break things you depend on without notice, but the service is offered as it is at any given moment.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials and API tokens private, and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. One person should not share a single login with others as a way around per-seat terms.
4. YOUR CONTENT IS YOURS
You keep ownership of everything you put into Plansheet: your visions, plans, documents, images, and the rest. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you, which is to store, process, back up, and display that content to you and the people you share it with. We do not sell your content, and we do not claim ownership of it. You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload.
5. ACCEPTABLE USE
Do not use Plansheet to break the law, to store or distribute malware, to infringe other people's rights, or to attack, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service or the infrastructure it runs on. Do not use it to harass others or to host content you have no right to host. We can suspend or remove access that we reasonably believe is doing one of these things.
6. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We work to keep Plansheet up and your data safe, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may perform maintenance, change the service, or discontinue parts of it. If we plan to discontinue the service in a way that affects your stored data, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export it.
7. NO WARRANTY
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use Plansheet at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of Plansheet. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars if you paid nothing.
9. TERMINATION
You can stop using Plansheet and close your account at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you materially break these terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you is no longer reasonable. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, and these miscellaneous terms) continue to apply.
10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms as the service changes. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top and, where reasonable, give notice in the app. Continuing to use Plansheet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. CONTACT
Questions about these terms go to hello@plansheet.io. We would rather answer a question early than argue about a clause later.
